Reliable email delivery with Globase
Globase uses a wide range of methods and techniques in order to ensure the best possible delivery rate. We employ highly skilled email delivery specialists, who are dedicated to improving deliverability for our customers.
Spam filter testing
Make sure you run your campaigns through a spam filter test prior to launching. This test will reveal whether certain elements in your campaign may cause it to be blocked by spam filters.
E-mail client testing
Always make sure that you test how your email campaigns are rendered in the most popular email clients. You can check out how your landing pages are rendered in various browsers, and how emails are rendered in Hotmail, gmail, Yahoo!Mail, or different versions of Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, Lotus Notes, etc.
FeedBack Loops
Globase automatically registers spam complaints from recipients of your campaigns who use popular email clients such as Yahoo!Mail or gmail. If a recipient of a campaign registers an email as spam, this person is automatically unsubscribed, so as to avoid future complaints.
Automatic bounce management
When a campaign is sent to old and invalid email addresses, those addresses are automatically registered so they can be excluded from future campaigns. This is a key element in maintaining your lists, and avoiding future campaigns getting blocked in spam filters.
Black list monitoring
We have a monitoring process of all large lists in place so that we can anticipate and counteract potential blacklisting.
Posting spans
Campaigns may be launched in spans dispersed over hours or days – within time spans defined by you. Splitting large scale campaigns (typically in excess of 10,000 emails) into posting spans will help ensuring a higher delivery rate, since smaller amounts of emails are more acceptable for email suppliers. This may also have a direct effect on the opening rate, since this ensures that the email arrives in the recipients’ inbox during office hours rather than in the dead of night.
ISP relations
Globase maintains a cordial ongoing dialogue with a wide range of email and spam filter suppliers, and we make sure to implement all of the necessary updates and improvements in order to ensure the best possible delivery rates.
Dedicated IP
A dedicated or unique IP may be of interest to companies that launch several thousands of emails every week, and who want their campaign flows kept separate from those of other companies. In some cases, a dedicated IP address is a requirement for being accepted on certain white lists. This is another reason why Globase offers a dedicated IP address to those of our customers that launch large scale campaigns on a regular basis.
COI
Confirmed Opt-In, also known as Double Opt-In, is a key method used to ensure a high quality list and the highest possible inbox delivery rate. COI is one of the only ways to ensure that people who sign up for your newsletters or competitions really are the true owner of the address that they subscribe with. By sending a confirmation email (or SMS) to those who sign up, which they in turn verify, you vanquish all doubts as to whether or not this person actually wishes to sign up.
SPF og SIDF
Sender Policy Framework (SPF) and Sender Identity Framework (SIDF) are two ways to grant certain email servers authorization to send emails from a given domain. On the one hand it protects the brand of the domain against phishing, and on the other hand it ensures better delivery with, for example, Hotmail.
DomainKeys/DKIM
DomainKeys and DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) are two related email authenticity systems. The purpose of these systems is to protect domains against spam and phishing abuse, as well as to ensure that email content cannot be modified while on its way to the recipient. This significantly improves the credibility of both sender and content. Together with a good reputation as a trust worthy sender, this means that the recipients’ mail servers will not need to filter such campaigns for spam.
