Trigger marketing – automated campaign flows

Globase has developed a user friendly and intelligent trigger module called Trigger Automation, which – by running dynamically on a daily basis – will enable you to automate manual processes, saving you both time and money.

Let Globase do all the hard work for you. Imagine sending an email to your customers with a link to a competition. Apart from having access to statistics informing you of who clicks on what and when they do it, you can also configure your campaign to automatically generate an email and send it to, for example, those customers that haven’t clicked on the link after 3 days. In Globase we have named this type of automated process a “trigger flow” based on a “trigger event”.

However, this is just one of the many options you have when working with trigger flows. For instance, you can also create automated campaigns based on customer data such as a customer’s birthday, so as to automatically send an email to all your customers congratulating them on their birthday. Or, for example, you can automatically launch an email survey seven days after a customer purchase. You can also send a reminder email in the case that someone does not respond to something you sent them – or even automatically distribute a CSV report containing signups for a seminar or response data from any campaign. All this is possible simply through using trigger flows. Only your imagination sets limits for what types of flows you can create using trigger flows.

You can utilize the vast amount of data stored in Globase, since trigger flows can be based on both demographic and behavioural data from one or more campaigns.

Trigger marketing flowsSave time by automating a typical welcome process

Below you will see an example of a welcome process. This process involves a whole lot of planning and many manual processes – and might well keep an employee busy on a full-time basis. The Globase Trigger Automation module, however, will replace these manual processes.

The process illustrated below consists of a total of 4 campaigns, 6 flows and 8 manual processes – which could all be converted to fully automated triggered flows, thus saving time, effort, and money.

Welcome campaign
Imagine that you have a manual process today that involves sending a welcome email or SMS to all new customers. This rather simple scenario involves 2 manual processes, which probably need to run daily.

Trigger marketing flow

Customer satisfaction survey
Additionally, you have built in a customer satisfaction process, which includes every new customer receiving a satisfaction email survey one month after they have signed up. And, provided that he or she chooses not to fill out in, a reminder is sent after 2 weeks. One week after the survey has been submitted, your customer will receive a call from a telemarketer. This small satisfaction survey flow involves the following manual processes:

  1. you need to continually download response data from your survey, in order to isolate those, who have not filled it in
  2. you need to send reminder emails to those that did not submit the survey
  3. you need to continually download data from your survey, in order to send this data to your telemarketers

Cross sales campaign
Simultaneously, there is also a cross sales campaign in which an email is sent to new customers one week after submitting the survey. The email contains a link to your web shop, where your customer can buy relevant products.

Abandoned cart-campaign
Finally, you have also designed a strategy aiming to activate those customers that actually place a product in the shopping cart in your web shop, but choose not to purchase the product. In this case, your customers’ identity is known to you, since he or she has to log in in order to place a product in the shopping cart. In a manual procedure, you would need to export data from your web shop and isolate this particular group of customers, create a new list, and finally send an email to this segment one week after abandoning the shopping cart. This email contains a link directly to the specific shopping cart.

Automate your processes
The conclusion is obvious – you would be doing yourself a favour by automating your manual online marketing processes using the Globase Trigger Automation module, thus saving time and money.
