Accept no compromises in merging live data with content in your offline messages
One of the newly released features in Globase now makes it possible to create physical letters with personalised content – just as easy as with emails.
Globase’s new Letter module builds on the same engine that powers the standard email module, where a physical letter is created that merges “1to1” data from your profiles into a ready to print PDF document. The most powerful feature of this module is that content is built in the standard HTML/(PDF) builder based on a PDF template. Globase customers deliver the PDF template for the offline letter, which is uploaded directly to Globase. Once uploaded, you have the possibility to create your offline campaign in endless variations in the same flexible way as with email campaigns.
The output is a ready to print PDF that can be delivered directly to your print bureau, or alternatively, you have the option to print it yourself. The format of the physical letter is up to you, but the system provides a list of standard sizes (such as A4, A3 or Letter) as well as provides the option of a custom-sized format.
The letter module can also be used intelligently to send notices to your newsletter subscribers whose email addresses “bounce”. Using a post card template, personalised 1to1 data can be merged with a message informing the user that their email address is no longer working, and ask them to sign up again with their new email address.
Automate the process and save time
Using the Globase Trigger Automation module it is possible to automate the above mentioned process. The system can be configured so that, for example, once per week, the system generates the PDF file containing all the post cards, which is then automatically delivered to your print bureau, who perhaps have also been instructed to deal with sending the post cards in the mail.
See Canal Digital’s* welcome flow including a physical letter
* Canal Digital is a Danish broadcast satellite provider
Canal Digital leads all their new customers through an automated welcome flow in order to learn more about the start-up phase and the customer’s interests and preferences. A new customer at Canal Digital will be contacted within the first 30 days in different ways depending on their response.
First, the customer will be contacted by phone in order to complete a survey. If they cannot be reached after a few efforts then two different email reminders are sent automatically to the customer with a link to a survey.
After 30 days a physical letter is sent
If the customer still has not completed the survey by either telephone or via the two emails, then an offline letter is created in Globase after 30 days. In this letter there is a link to the survey and a unique password. The offline letter is created with 1to1 merge, i.e. the customer’s product choices are automatically merged into the letter. All data is exchanged between Canal Digital’s ERP/CRM and Globase so no manual data extraction is needed.
Globase Letter module frees up valuable time due to the fact that the letter is built with 1to1 merge directly in Globase and is completed as a ready to print PDF.
